Welsh international Harries added to backline
Ealing Trailfinders are delighted to announce that they have signed Welsh international Will Harries for the remainder of the season.
Harries won three international caps for the Welsh national side when he played against New Zealand, Australia and the Barbarians in 2010. He is also a regular in the Wales 7s side and featured at the Glasgow 2014 Commonwealth Games.
"Ealing Trailfinders are known for their running rugby, something that I am sure will suit my game, especially on the new pitch, " Harries said.
"I know Alex Walker from the Wales 7s team and he spoke highly of the club, said he really enjoyed it here and that there was a really good atmosphere at the Club. Hopefully we will be going places this season and over the next few too."
Prior to signing on at Vallis Way Harries played for Newport Gwent Dragons and the Cardiff-born 27-year-old has also played for Northampton Saints and Bedford Blues.
The wing or fullback stands at 5'9" (175cm) and weighs in at 13 stone, 3 pounds (83kg).
"Will is a proven player at the top level, " Director of Coaching Ben Ward said. "He has the ability to play a number of different positions and will increase the competition for places in the team. He is still involved in Wales 7s, which means he will bring a high level of fitness and be ready to go immediately."
