Walker and Munro set to face former club
Alun Walker and Joe Munro will take on their former club having been named in the Ealing Trailfinders side that will face Nottingham in the Greene King IPA Championship.
Walker played at Nottingham during the 2013-14 season, while Munro spent four seasons in the East Midlands before he moved to Ealing Trailfinders in the summer of 2015.
Hooker Walker played in both matches between the teams last year. He missed the clash earlier this season but Munro did play, the first time he faced his former side. Both players also started the two Championship matches between Ealing Trailfinders and Nottingham in the 2013-14 season.
Walker will form a familiar front-row of himself and props Lewis Thiede and Will Davis. It is the seventh time in a row the trio have started a match together.
Behind them Glen Townson and Llewelyn Jones team up in the engine room, while Kieran Murphy returns to the back row after he sat out the 84-7 win over Scarlets Prem Select in the British and Irish Cup quarterfinal for being cup-tied.
Murphy joins captain Mark Bright and Rayn Smid in the back row, with both players out to add to the tries they scored last weekend.
Luke Carter will start the match at scrum-half a few days after he signed on for next season and he will pair up with fly-half Rory Clegg, who will make his third appearance since joining.
There are two changes to the three-quarter line. Lewis Jones will line up alongside Munro in the centres, while Miles Mantella comes in on the wing, across from James Cordy-Redden.
Fullback Will Harries completes the starting team.
