Trio aiming for repeat performance against Jersey

Three of the players who helped Ealing Trailfinders to their first Greene King IPA Championship victory, will return to St Peters when the west London side take on Jersey on Friday.

Two years ago second-row Adam Preocanin, fly-half Ben Ward and wing Phil Chesters helped Ealing Trailfinders to a 28-18 victory in the Channel Islands, their first victory and first points after they had won promotion in the summer of 2014.

All three will feature on Friday, Preocanin in the second row alongside former Jersey player Nathan Hannay, Ward at fly-half and Chesters off the bench.

Elsewhere in the pack flanker Iain Grieve will lead the side and team up with number eight Chris York and Llewelyn Jones in the back-row. Further forward the front-row is unchanged and hooker Alun Walker will pack down between props Jamie Kilbane and Michael Holford.

In the half-backs Director of Coaching Ben Ward will team up with Alex Davies and in the centres Callum Wilson play alongside Toby Howley-Berridge.

Will Harries continues where he left off against Nottingham at fullback, while James Stephenson and Luke Daniels will line up on the wings.
