Stepho out to show old friends what they’re missing

James Stephenson will be out to remind Bedford Blues of his season at Goldington Road when he dons the number 14 shirt for their visit to Vallis Way on Saturday.

Stephenson spent the 2012-13 season with Bedford Blues and built a reputation for knowing his way to the try-line by running in 17 tries in 16 appearances. It earned him a move to Worcester Warriors, before he joined Ealing Trailfinders this summer.

Phil Chesters lines up on the other wing aiming to add to the four tries he has already scored this season, which would mean he has scored in five consecutive matches.

Fullback Will Harries returns to the starting side after he came off the bench against Moseley following four weeks on the side-lines with injury and Tom Wheatcroft and Toby Howley-Berridge pair up in the centres for the first time this season.

At half-back Alex Davies and Tristan Roberts will pull the strings for the fourth time in tandem this season.

Chris York is another to return from injury and he will captain the side and pack down at number eight, with Alex Bradley and Llewelyn Jones on the flanks. Carwyn Jones and Adam Preocanin link up in the centres, while Michael Holford, Alun Walker and Jamie Kilbane form the front-row.
