Six members of Trailfinders Rugby Academy called up for trial with England Under 20s
Ealing Trailfinders are delighted to reveal that six members of the Trailfinders Rugby Academy were called up to train with the England Under 20s this week.
The players are all part of the Scholarship Programme with Brunel University London, and have shown significant progress resulting in a call up to the national team for age grade rugby.
Dan Hiscocks, Harry Dugmore, Marcus Kershaw and Will Hendy were recognised, as well as Samson Adejemi and Brandon Jackson who are dual registered with the Saracens Academy.
Director of Rugby Ben Ward is thrilled to see the Trailfinders Rugby Academy receiving international recognition as it continues to go from strength to strength.
“We have a clear aim of making our Academy the most comprehensive programme in the country, and to have six players called up to the Under 20s training squad is a huge success story for us.
The players have been working extremely hard and this is reward for that. We are very proud of how our Academy is developing, and hopefully this is just the start of building professional rugby careers for many years.”
