Penny back for Yorkshire visit

Alex Penny is one of four changes to the team that will take on Yorkshire Carnegie in the Greene King IPA Championship on Saturday.

Ealing Trailfinders Director of Coaching Ben Ward has brought Penny in as tight-head prop for the team’s first match of 2016, Arthur Ellis begins at open-side flanker, Llewelyn Jones at second-row and Danny Barnes will line up in the centres.

Last time out Ealing Trailfinders scored four tries to defeat London Scottish 28-22 to lift themselves off the bottom of the table.

Penny will scrum down in the front-row alongside captain and hooker Rhys Lawrence, who leads the team for the fourth week in a row and loose-head prop Will Davis.

Behind them twins Llewelyn and Carwyn Jones will team up in the engine room, with Ellis packing down alongside number eight Chris York and Harrison Orr in the back-row.

Former Munster and Newcastle Falcons man Barnes will form an experienced centre combination with Joe Munro and Callum Wilson and James Stephenson will begin the match outside them on the wings.

Alex Davies, whose four conversion were vital to the win a week ago, continues at scrum-half alongside Tristan Roberts, while Luke Daniels will start at fullback.
