Nottingham – Five Facts

Ealing Trailfinders return to league action when they take on Nottingham in the Greene King IPA Championship at Vallis Way on Saturday.

• There are two ex-Ealing Trailfinders players in the Nottingham squad. Fullback Billy Robinson played in the Championship in the 2013-14 season before he moved onto Nottingham where he won player of the year in 2015. 
• Wing James Stephenson hails from Ealing and attended St Benedict’s School with Arthur Ellis. He played for Ealing Trailfinders last season and scored two tries in 11 starts. 
• Head coach Ian Costello is a former Munster centre. After retiring he coached Munster U20’s, Academy and the ‘A’ side who he led the British and Irish Cup in 2011. 
• Joe Munro, Rhys Crane and Alun Walker all played for Nottingham before they joined Ealing Trailfinders. Munro and Walker started both matches for Nottingham against Ealing Trailfinders in 2013-14. 
• Centre Viliami Hakalo has played nine times for Tonga, most recently in June 2016 against Samoa. 
• Nottingham have won the last three fixtures between the teams, most recently a 17-13 win at Lady Bay in November.
