Murph back for Blues trip

Kieran Murphy is back in the Ealing Trailfinders starting XV for the match away to Bedford Blues at Goldington Road in the Greene King IPA Championship on Saturday.

The back-rower has missed the most recent matches, wins against Doncaster Knights on the road and at home to Richmond a week ago and he will pack down in the back-row alongside captain and number 8 Mark Bright and open-side flanker Arthur Ellis.

Elsewhere in the pack hooker Alun Walker will return to the ground where he scored a hat-trick during the 19-19 draw in the British and Irish Cup in December. The Scotsman will pack down between props Will Davis and Lewis Thiede for a fifth week in succession.

Behind them Llewelyn Jones and Barney Maddison continue their second-row combination for a fourth consecutive week.

Alex Walker is the only change to a back-line that ran in four tries a week ago against Richmond. He will start at scrum-half in a half-back pairing with fly-half Aaron Penberthy.

James Cordy-Redden and Miles Mantella have been rewarded for scoring two tries apiece against Richmond by keeping their places in the back three. Fullback Luke Daniels completes the quartet and will be out to match the try he scored when the teams met at Goldington Road last season.

Joe Munro and Aled Jenkins team up in the centres for the fourth time in the last five matches.
