Four changes for Knights challenge

Ealing Trailfinders Director of Rugby Ben Ward has made four change to the team that will face Doncaster Knights in the Greene King IPA Championship on Saturday.

Ward’s team sit fourth in the Championship, eight points behind their hosts at Castle Park but having won 24-17 at Vallis Way earlier in the season.

James Cordy-Redden, Luke Daniels, Chris York and Rayn Smid are the four players who come into the side that lost 23-22 to London Irish at home last Saturday.

Cordy-Redden and Daniels will line up in the back three, Cordy-Redden on the wing and Daniels at fullback. Miles Mantella completes the trio and he holds onto the number 14 shirt a week after making his debut since joining from London Welsh in December.

York and Smid, who arrived from Bristol in January, will team up with captain and number 8 Mark Bright in the back row.

Further forward it is the same tight five of Will Davis, Alun Walker and Lewis Thiede in the front row and Llewelyn Jones and Barney Maddison behind them in the engine room.

In the backs Luke Carter and Aaron Penberthy will team up as scrum and fly-half, while Joe Munro and Aled Jenkins start in the centres aiming to match the tries they scored when the teams met earlier in the season.
