Five changes for London derby

Arthur Ellis, Chris York, Harry Casson, Matt Cornish and Alex Walker have all been handed starting spots for London Welsh’s visit to Vallis Way in the Greene King IPA Championship on Saturday.

York, Casson, Cornish and Walker all appeared off the bench a week ago in the 17-13 loss to Nottingham, while Ellis missed out on the match-day squad.

It is the first London derby at Vallis Way this season, following an away loss to London Irish and victory over Richmond at the Athletic Ground.

York and Ellis will team up in the back-row along with captain and number eight Mark Bright. Casson will pair up with Adam Preocanin in the second row, while Cornish will pack down in front of the them, in between props Ignacio Lancuba and Lewis Thiede.

Walker is the only change to the backline that featured at Lady Bay. He will start at scrum-half in tandem with fly-half Aaron Penberthy.

Aled Jenkins and Joe Munro will team up in the centres for the sixth league match in a row. Curtis Wilson and Rhys Crane line up on the wings, with Luke Daniels starting at fullback.
