Chesters wings in as Knights ride in to town

Phil Chesters returns to the team for his first appearance of 2016 when Ealing Trailfinders host Doncaster Knights in the Greene King IPA Championship on Saturday.

Chesters last featured in the British and Irish Cup match away to Leinster A on 11 December and he lines up in his familiar number 11 shirt, while Rhys Crane will don the 14 jersey for the second week in a row.

Toby Howley-Berridge and Danny Barnes will form the centres, with Howley-Berridge’s promotion reward for impressing off the bench a week ago. Alex Davies will slot in behind them at fullback.

Alex Walker continues at scrum-half and will team up with Director of Coaching Ben Ward, who returns to the team at fly-half.

In the pack number eight Chris York will take over as captain from Rhys Lawrence, who drops to the bench after sterling work over the past few weeks.

York will be flanked by Arthur Ellis and Iain Grieve, while Alun Walker replaces Lawrence at hooker. Either side of him are props Will Davis and Alex Penny, while Adam Preocanin and Carwyn Jones will lock out the scrum in the second-row.

Fly-halves Tristan Roberts and Jonny Bentley, centre Tom Wheatcroft, fullbacks Will Harries, James Love and Luke Daniels, second-row Nathan Hannay and hooker Matt Thompson are all in the treatment room and were unavailable for this match.
