Chef Adam Gray visits Trailfinders Rugby Academy


The Trailfinders Rugby Academy were treated to a memorable evening with Michelin Star Chef Adam Gray who delivered a workshop on ‘Preparing Food for Performance.’

Gray, who has over 35 years of experience in the Catering industry has held a Michelin star for over a decade and is also a passionate rugby coach and supporter. 


He gave the Academy players an insight in to how to cook well in their accommodation during their time at Brunel University London and how they can ensure that their diet influences their performance positively.


The interactive demonstration included creating a Breakfast Juice, Detox Soup, Tuna Steak and then a tutorial on how to cook the perfect steak. 


Academy Manager Ty Sterry was delighted with how the Academy responded to the event. 


"Having Adam as our guest is an enormous part of the educational pathway that we wish to have for our Academy. As we look to grow in the coming years we will create more great learning opportunities across the programme from industry experts.
