Charity calendar proving to be a huge hit
The Ealing Trailfinders 1st XV 2015 Charity Calendar has already proven to be a huge hit with fans after just over a month of being available.
The calendar went on sale just before the first match of the season, at home to Loughborough Students and so far they have proved very popular, with over 600 having flown off the shelves so far.
The calendar retails at £15 and all money raised from its sale will go towards the Jack Fishwick Discretionary Trust Fund. Jack is a former Ealing Trailfinders player who suffered a rugby accident in March that left him quadriplegic and the money from the calendar will go towards his treatment and on-going care.
The calendar shoot took place over a long, but fun day in August, when the players stripped down their smalls and applied liberal amounts of baby oil to depict a variety of poses that show the work required and the physical prowess needed to succeed in professional rugby.
Warren Ryley and Roy Attfield from Classic Pix set up a studio in the Olympic Pavillion where they took the photos. Trailfinders Design Manager Ellen Huggett oversaw the shooting, design, layout and styling, while City Print printed the finished calendar.
The calendar will make a perfect Christmas present for any Ealing Trailfinders fan and is available on matchdays from the club shop and online at www.ealingtrailfinders1stxv.com
