Bucky back for Moseley Cup clash

Nathan Buck starts an Ealing Trailfinders match for the first time since October when Ben Ward’s side take on Moseley in the British and Irish Cup on Saturday.

The Welsh prop’s most recent start was against Moseley in the Greene King IPA Championship, one of two matches that the sides have played this season, both of which were won by the Birmingham-based team.

This weekend’s match is a taster ahead of the Championship fixture between the sides who occupy the bottom two places on 27 February.

Buck will pack down in the front-row alongside fellow Welshman, captain and hooker Rhys Lawrence and Will Davis. Another player from across the River Severn, Llewelyn Jones starts in the engine room, alongside Adam Preocanin.

The back-row is unchanged from the last match, against Yorkshire Carnegie where number eight Chris York is flanked by Alex Bradley and Harrison Orr.

There is one change from that match in the back-line where Will Harries comes into the starting XV as fullback.

Further forward Alex Davies and Tristan Roberts will link up at scrum-half and fly-half, Joe Munro and Danny Barnes remain in the centres, with James Stephenson and Callum Wilson on the wings.

On the bench Jonny Bentley is poised to make his first appearance for the club having signed on in early January.
