Bright to lead side in maiden B&I Cup semi

Mark Bright will lead out Ealing Trailfinders for the 22nd time this season when they play their first British and Irish Cup semifinal, away to Munster A at Cork Institute of Technology on Friday.

Bright will start in his usual number 8 position and will be joined in the back-row by Cork native Willie Ryan and Rayn Smid.

Ahead of them is the front row of props Will Davis and Lewis Thiede and hooker Alun Walker that has started the last seven matches. Second row Llewelyn Jones also makes his eight consecutive start and he will pack down alongside Glen Townson in the engine room.

In the backs Luke Carter and Rory Clegg continue at half-back and fullback Will Harries makes his 14th start of the season.

Luke Peters and Lewis Jones will team up in the centres, a year on from finishing their studies at Leeds Beckett University and outside them are wings Curtis Wilson and Phil Chesters.

Last time out Ben Ward’s side scored 12 tries in their 84-7 win over Dragons Premiership Select in the quarterfinals that allowed them to book their place away to the tournament’s first seeds.
