Bright nominated for RPA Award

Ealing Trailfinders matchday captain Mark Bright has been nominated as the Rugby Players’ Association’s Greene King IPA Championship Player of the Year.

It is a fitting reward for Bright who joined Ealing Trailfinders from London Scottish ahead of the current campaign and who has scored five tries in 23 appearances.

Last Saturday the number 8 won the Players’ and Coaches’ Player of the Year at the Ealing Trailfinders Awards Presentation Evening.

Bright will be up against London Irish fly-half James Marshall and Yorkshire Carnegie number 8 Ryan Burrows for the award which will be presented at the RPA Awards Night on 10 May.

He previously won Championship Player of the Year Award at the end of 2012-13 season and has been named in the Championship Dream Team for the past three years.
