Ealing Trailfinders Community Department | Foundation
2018 saw us set up our community foundation, aimed at taking rugby and sporting values to new heights and further into the community!
Our maiden project with the foundation has been our “Rugby Life Skills” programme. Using rugby’s core values, our coaches and professional players have set out to educate and upskill school pupils on how rugby can have a profound and lasting impact in classroom and out in the working world.
Educating young people on healthy living, diet and growth mindset, is central to this programme and something everyone at Trailfinders is passionate about!
Working with schools such as Alec Reed Academy in Northolt, this programme is the tip of the iceberg regarding our foundation. Our other programmes include Reading and Rugby, Rugby Maths and Writing and Rugby. All these programmes incorporate the school English and Maths curriculum and tie them into rugby sessions.
2019 also saw us begin working alongside Jason Leonard’s ATLAS Foundation. Our sole objective with the ATLAS Foundation is to maximise the accessibility to sport, for everyone in every walk of life!
All information on our partnership with ATLAS can be found by clicking here.
If you would like further information on how your school can get involved with our foundation, donate to our cause or if you would like to become a patron of the foundation, please contact Ross Doneghan at firstname.lastname@example.org.
